We’ve photographed at Wynyard Hall many times, but the beauty of having us photograph your wedding is that we try to make it look different every time. Chris and Louise had seen us work at a wedding before, and we had been recommended, so no pressure haha…
We started the day by arriving at Wynyard to capture Louise getting ready. The time of day we arrived meant the the light was falling beautifully through the window onto Louise as she was getting ready, we made for some beautiful photographs. We captured everything that was happening on the morning, with all the girls and Louise’s family.
We pop downstairs for some photographs of Chris and the lads, and before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony to start. Now when it comes to little children at weddings, if they’re not going to keep their shoes on, it’s best to them them go bare foot. Not only does this save on any random shoes being left anywhere, but it looks really adorable too. So Chris and Louise’s little boy, Jacob, headed down the isle absent his shoes. Yes, it looked adorable.
The ceremony went pretty much without a hitch. The only interruption being Jacob didn’t like it when he wasn’t involved, so for most of the ceremony daddy held him close. It made for some lovely photographs. Some sweets later and we were heading outside for some photographs.
We did the family photographs first and after they were done we headed inside for the speeches. With the light dimming, I grabbed Chris and Louise before the end of their meal so we could get some photos of the two of them together.
The sunset was looking perfect as we headed outside towards the lake behind Wynyard. We also went up into the new garden area that they’ve had done. This gave us chance to capture some lovely photographs of the two of them before we headed back inside for the evening doo.
After some time to meet and greet their guests, we cut the cake and did the first dance before everyone could then relax and party the night away.
The photographs you see above were taken on a Canon 5D mk iii and a Canon 7D mk ii camera using a variety of different lenses.
The couple booked the Single Photographer Package which gave them one photographer for the whole day.
